Jui-o-zoom-pool (Korean), Korean valerian, Japanese valerian, Japanischer Baldrian
Erect perennial herb, 40-80cm tall; native to the mountains of Japan and Korea; basal leaves small; leaves on the stem pinnate, with 5-7 leaflets; flowers with pink corolla, 5-7mm long, stamen longer then the corolla-tube.
The strong-smelling root is traditionally used as antispasmodic and sedative.
