The essential oil of the leaves contain limonene 3.4%, citronellal 40.2%, citronellol 13.3%, geraniol 17.7%, elemene 2.7%, citronellyl acetate 4.5%, δ-cadinene 2.8%, geranyl acetate 4.6%, and elemol 4.7%.
