 The seeds of C.pepo subsp.pepo (especially var.styriaca and var.oleifera; pumpkin seed, Cucurbitae semen, Kürbissamen) and preparations thereof are used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) related lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS).
