Evergreen, erect, compact subshrub or shrub, up to 50cm high; native to Australia (S.New South Wales to E. Victoria, extinct in Tasmania), cultivated elsewhere as ornamental; leaves strongly aromatic when crushed; flowers arranged singly in four to ten leaf axils near the ends of branchlets, petals are pale lavendar to almost white with reddish or purple blotches inside, 9-15 mm long. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prostanthera_cuneata
Main components of the essential oil produced by hydrodistillation of the leaves were maaliol (34.5%), 1,8-cineole (24.2%), Z-dihydroagarofuran (15.8%), β-pinene (6.9%), α-pinene (3.0%), verbenone (1.9%), myrtenal (1.6%), germacrene D (1.6%), and limonene (1.5%).
