Malva neglecta Wallr. - syn.Malva rotundifolia auct. - Malvaceae
common mallow, dwarf mallow, roundleaf mallow, Weg-Malve, Kleine Käsepappel
Annual herb, up to 50cm high, native to Eurasia, North Africa, naturalized in Northern America; flowers pink or white, petals 5-12mm long, sepals 3-6mm.
The dried leaves are used in folk medicine like that of Malva sylvestris as emulcent to treat inflamed mucous membranes.
