common mallow, dwarf mallow, roundleaf mallow, **Weg-Malve**, Kleine Käsepappel

Annual herb, up to 50cm high, native to Eurasia, North Africa, naturalized in Northern America; flowers pink or white, petals 5-12mm long, sepals 3-6mm.

The dried leaves are used in folk medicine like that of [[malva_sylvestris_l|Malva sylvestris]] as emulcent to treat inflamed mucous membranes.
