Artemisia herba-alba Asso - Asteraceae - white wormwood, armoise herbe blanche (fr.) Upright, shrubby perennial, 0.20-0.40m high, native to Morocco and the Mediterranean region; leaves grey-green, pinnately divided, covered with fine glandular hairs, strongly aromatic. The essential oil of the herb is used in perfumery as //armoise oil//.
