Sesquiterpenes were not found in Chinese wisteria. Other compounds present in W.sinensis flower scent were methyl salicylate, methyl chavicol, methyl hexadecanoate, methyl octanoate, methyl pentanoate, decanal, indole, benzyl cyanide and 1,8-cineole. \\
