 Main components of the volatile fraction of Tolu resin were benzyl alcohol (43.4%), ethyl cinnamate (1.0%), cinnamic acid (1.4%), benzyl benzoate (50.7%), and cinnamyl cinnamate (1.5%). Minor components were e.g. benzaldehyde, methyl benzoate, ethyl benzoate, benzoic acid, cinnamic alcohol, methyl cinnamate, vanillin (0.02%), cinnamic acid (2.7%), cinnamyl benzoate and benzyl cinnamate. \\
