 The flower scent of this species can vary from plant to plant to an extreme degree. Main components of the trapped scents (9-11.30 am) were benzyl acetate (37.4-61.0%), benzyl benzoate (9.5-20.1%), methyl eugenol (5.7-6.2%), eugenol (0.2-9.5%), elemicine (3.1-5.4%), benzyl alcohol (1.4-2.6%), cinnamic alcohol (0.1-1.6%), phenylethyl alcohol (0.1-2.3%), phenylethyl acetate (0.4-1.4%), and (Z)-3-hexenol (0.2-0.6%). \\ The flower scent of this species can vary from plant to plant to an extreme degree.
