The first distillation range (30-160°C/0.05 Torr) of this fig leaf absolute represents the olfactory relevant part - only 1% (!). Main components of this part are hydrocarbons with caryophyllene, α- and β-farnesene, linalool, benzyl acetate, (Z)-3-hexenyl tiglate, methyl salicylate, β-ionone, and (Z)-3-hexenyl benzoate.
